My new Acoustic Energy Aego M pc speakers. Birthday gift from my dearest wife!

Bought SGD$250 from City Electronics at Sim Lim Square. Good build quality although made in Malaysia. The 2 cubes are heavy for their size with a matt brushed aluminium casing finishing which exudes quality. Bass module looks ordinary though. Sound quality from the 2 cubes are surprisingly good! Treble is very sweet and clear without harshness, but that depends on the music source of course. Vocals are fluid and there is even good sound staging! From pc speakers of this price! The bass module has 3 settings, low, medium & high to suit the room. Bass is well extended and not boomy like most other 2.1 speakers. Easily the BEST 2.1 pc speakers i have ever heard! And i heard the SGD$800 Focal 2.1 system from CK Tangs yesterday, which sounded tinny! OMG!!!
